Rich people want to rule the world. Rich people want to live forever.

Rich people want to buy the whole of your street and that is HARD WORK. Rich people want to make ten billion dollars a month. And the hustle needed for that is insane. It is backbreaking.

Poor people with their petty problems will be beefing the rich people in their lives. 'Una no see the big house him get for Ajah, de jeep and hummer e dey drive? See how him wife and pikin fat? But to borrow me two million dey hard am.
He's not gonna borrow you two million because he won't get it back. Ever.

I have found out people are more willing to help me when I am doing something productive. When I approach them with a 'I am working on this and it will benefit not just me but tons of people in the long run' attitude they are more open than when I am giving off Cap-in-hand vibes. Nobody wants to throw money down the drain 'just because of God.'

Yes, there are rich people who are so tightfisted even a crowbar won't pry anything out of them, BUT it is still their money NOT yours. Fhugget the beef.

Instead of getting mad at your rich friends and relations who are not reaching out, instead of getting jealous that people are leaving you in the rut and chasing and catching and living their dreams, get yourself together and get to work on something.

Some doors are just closed not shut. Do not be afraid to pull the knob just because of 'if bomb dey inside nko?'

So what? If there is a bomb behind the door then you are going out in a blaze of glory. Sure beats living unremarkably.
