THE RIGHT TYPE OF FRIENDS

Vieson thawani shares the kinds of FRIENDS every one should have in order to succeed. Truth be told, if you are going to succeed, then you must accept that YOU CANNOT DO IT ALONE. It was Zig Ziglar who first said in his master piece "Born to Win" that “A lot of people have gone further than they thought they could, simply because, SOMEONE ELSE thought they could.”

Below, I list the 6 kinds of Friends every man or woman with a GOAL should have in order to succeed. It is a journey and we need the right type of friends with the same mentality to thrive. We need mentors, innovators, cheerleaders, drivers, strategists, implementors.

MENTORS: A Mentor is really NOT your friend. A mentor is your Coach. A mentor is someone who has been where you are going and knows how to get there. The powerful thing about having a Mentor is that.. you do NOT have to waste time trying to learn by experience. All you need to do is find someone who has done what you are doing, humble yourself and learn from them.

INNOVATORS: This type of friends, I call Innovators, are friends who never run out of ideas. They are wells of wisdom, ideas and insights. You need these people for those times when your creativity is at its lowest. They will throw you ideas when you are stuck with your school assignment, work project, or when you don’t know what ideas to put in your CV.

DRIVERS:

This type of friends, I call " DRIVERS", are friends with high levels of ENERGY. They will literally DRIVE, pull you, and push you against all odds towards your goals. I like these friends because they have no respect for barriers and stumbling blocks. “Driver” friends will wake you up at night to study, pull you Sunday morning to church, and make you a champion

STRATEGISTS:

Unlike Innovators, “Strategist” friends are more interested in how you run your daily activities. Whereas, Innovators will give you an idea, Strategists will show you how to implement that idea. They will tell you exactly what details to put in your business plan, what format your Essay should take, or the EXACT words to tell that girl you want to make your girlfriend. lol

IMPLEMENTORS:

These are friends who love you so much they will do things for you for FREE. Unlike the other kinds of friends, “Implementer” friends, don’t TELL you how to do things, they DO the things for you. They will will check out vacancies for you in the Daily Times or Nation papers and pick out just the one for you. They will go out on their own and register your name in that business plan competition.

CHEER LEADERS:

“Cheerleader” friends are not stupid as some people may think. In fact, they are the most powerful of all the types of friends. For the simple reason that they are never jealous of your success. They so confident in who they are, that they are NOT intimidated by your successes. They always congratulate you for your successes. They CHEER you on towards success.
