I'm thinking aloud this very morning because something inside me is yearning for attention.The emphasis we place on wanting friends. The good ones, the cantankerous type, the belligerent ones, inciting you to violence... on this platform I have everybody. But there is yet a lacuna, not even the influx of human can fill. The need to be different, distinct, great. The reverence the "common-man" give to the bourgeoisie. It is wanting to find yourself but getting lost to the conscious paradigms of life: the third-degree pathway. It is wanting to be alone but not wanting to be lonely... It is caring about everything but caring about nothing actually... It is feeling everything deeply but being paralyzing numb to the bullshit sold on the Lagos streets each day. AN OLD SOUL What is an old soul? An old soul is often characterized as being someone who finds themselves alone and isolated to some extent.They’re wizened beyond their years seemingly from birth. But being an old soul comes with its own set of challenges. 1. People label you incorrectly. People are obsessed with labels. Are you a hippie? A hipster? Are you new age? Come on, you have to be something, right? Old souls are the hardest people to peg as belonging to a larger group because they tend to be unique. It’s like  they’re above labels. 2. ENJOY WHERE YOU ARE There is nothing which is intrinsically enjoyable. What one person enjoys, another person despise.  Enjoyment is an abstract word as it means different things to different people. It comes from your attitude toward a particular situation, not the situation itself.Too many people search in vain for enjoyable activities, enjoyable relationships, enjoyable environments, enjoyable entertainment. A much more successful strategy would be to stop searching and start enjoying. Get yourself up to little things that really brings the smile to your face. The enjoyment in itself is not in the activity. The enjoyment is in you. your very core. yourself. It is best apt to put it this way, Be your own best friend and find happiness in yourself. Wherever you are, whatever you’re doing, find a way to enjoy it. Sure, it’s great when you aspire to bigger and better things. SHOULD I GIVE UP ON HUMANITY? The world is only a soulless place if you say it is. Sometimes, you just have to look a little harder. If you still only see black, make a spark to light the dark. BEING GAY, BIG DEAL? Good morning World. I am trying to understand what being gay is all about. I have strong feelings for the male folk, it would baffle me if there is any sexual inclination to this. When a child is being born with deformities, a quick surgical operation is being performed before he/she grows up at most times, reason being that, deformities are easiest to repair and manage from childhood... Well to me, being Homosexual "gay/lesbian" is another type of a deformity, why because, that specie was not meant to be that way... MISPLACED PRIORITIES On his death bed, Alexander summoned his army generals and told them his three ultimate wishes: #1. The best  doctors should carry his coffin... #2. AHMED'S PREDICAMENT You’ve probably read or heard about the 14 year old boy who made a digital clock and got arrested by the Police after his teacher mistook his homemade clock for a bomb. Awful, right? Now here’s the good part: The news got on social media and people from all over the world condemned the act and gave massive support to Ahmed for his ingenuity. But it didn’t end there. Ahmed got shout-outs from President Obama, presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg invited him to Facebook. Ahmed has also received invitations to work at Twitter and Reddit, been offered a seat at the Google science fair and a scholarship to NASA’s space camp – just to name a few. Thanks to his teacher!
