WHEN YOU COME TO THE END OF YOURSELF

YOU FIND THE BEGINNING OF GOD

The only survivor of a shipwreck washed up on a small uninhabited island.

He prayed feverishly for God to rescue him, everyday he scanned the horizon for help but non seem forthcoming. Exhausted, he managed to build a little hut out of driftwood to protect him from the elements and to store his few possessions.
But then one day, while he was scavenging for food, he arrived home to find his little hut in flames, the smoke rolling up the sky.
The worst had happened, everything was lost.

He was stung with grief and anger, “God! How could you do this to me?“ he cried. Early the next day, he was awaken by the sound of a ship that was approaching the island. It had come to rescue him. “How did you know that i was here?“ asked the weary man of his rescuers.

"We saw your smoke signal" they replied.

NOTE:

It‘s easy to get discourage when things are going bad, but we shouldn't lose heart because God is at work in our lives, even in the midst of pains and suffering, he sees you, he‘s there, he will carry you because he‘s concerned about you. Though weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning‘, he won‘t give you more than you can‘t bear. So next time your little hut is burning.......

It just may be the smoke signal that summons the grace of God in your life.
May almighty God give us the strength to wait upon his grace.

WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT YOURSELF?

Do you know your worth and what you are capable of?
Have you set your goals too high or too low?
There are always two things to be kept in mind

First, Never under estimate your worth.

You can do far better than what you are doing today.
Second, do not over estimate your worth.
There is a limit as to how much you can stretch yourself in one go.

You cannot take one step, your first step, and reach the top of the ladder…

You need to go step by step.

Life is a learning process and we learn as we grow.

Our limits expand.
Knowledge increases our worth.

Understand Your Worth.
